Levi's 1st Father's Day was spent in sunny San Diego, California! We were on vacation with his family but we were able to sneak away for our own family time to celebrate Levi as a Dad!
We were staying in Mission Beach and I found a fun area up in La Jolla, not too far away. The drive up La Jolla Blvd. was beautiful. We first went to a restaurant called The Cottage. It was so yummy! It reminded us of Newport Beach. The owner knew just about everyone that came through the front door, and everyone seemed to know each other. You could tell a lot offamilies were celebrating Father's Day. There was one family in particular that I will always remember. . .they had a cute little boy (older then Teagan) with beautiful blond curly hair, it stood out amongst his sister's who had straight, dark hair. But what really stood out was the crown that was atop the Dad's head. It was a homemade crown out of paper, decorated with glitter and markers. And the dad was wearing it proudly for all to see. I loved it :)
After breakfast we went down the street to La Jolla Cove. There are a bunch of seals here, that get a lot of tourist, it was pretty fun to see them all out on the beach! We also walked past some men who were about to go spear fishing! There suits and gear looked so intense! Anyways, we found a nice spot on the grass so we could relax and have Levi open his gift from me. (It was an ice-cream maker :)
After that we took some pictures and headed back to the beach house for some family fun(which I'll show you all later ;)
