Hi, my name is Ashley. My husband Levi and I have been married for 2 1/2 years now. Marriage is fun, exciting, sometimes hard, and always entertaining. We have one dog, Mason, and a baby boy on the way! Our life is always on the go and this is an account to it.

So Many Books...

...so little time!

I have a gazillion books to read right now! I've tried reading 2 at once, but that usually doesn't work for me because I get into 1 of them and never read the other one. I had a hard time deciding which book to read to first. Levi and I were given Love & War by John Eldredge, Facing Your Giants by Max Lucado, just to name a few! Then there's the fun girly ones by Karen Kingsbury, Sophie Kinsella and Jodi Picoult. Oh my!

I finally decided to read one that I knew would go quick by Jodi Picoult. (She wrote My Sister's Keeper.) Her books are phenomenal! In my opinion anyways :) This time I am reading Harvesting the Heart. It's about a girl named Paige who's mother leaves her when she is 5 and how Paige grew up not knowing how to be a good mother or a wife. Following in her mother's footsteps, Paige left her father the day after her high school graduation. She then met someone and is now married with a baby, but coincidentally, she has left them both in search of all the answers; her mother.

Does it sound good to you?! I am almost finished. I am at the part where Paige has gone back to her husband Michael and baby Max (something her mom never did, because in the end, she doesn't want to be like her mom after all; the leaving part anyways) but her Husband won't take her back....dun dun duuun! Haha :)

I'm already thinking what I should read next! Until then, here's to Jodi Picoult!

Mason - on the job

Mason has been here and there and everywhere! When Levi and I were working on redoing a house, we would take Mason with us. He's been to a lot of places in his 6 months! Here are some picture of Mason on the job - looking cute as always :)

Is it time to go home now?

He LOVES water bottles! He would run around the backyard and lay on the unplanted trees (thanks Mason) and chew on his water bottle

Digging, digging, digging!!

Do I have any dirt on my nose??

I spy a cute puppy in the front seat! (Every time we hit the unlock button, his little head pops up from the seat...its pretty funny)

Hanging out with the girls!

Mason's Mimi

My mom's mom, grandma Donna, has been making blankets for the family called mimi's. I was brought home from the hospital in my original mimi, which I still use today, (Its on our bed right now!) it's seen its better days. I've received a few new ones over the years, but my first mimi is still my favorite. It's so soft and warn in, I love it.

When Levi and I were engaged grandma made Levi his very one mimi, one that was even long enough for him. He was officially part of the family!

About a month ago I got a package from my mom for Mason. What could it be?!

It was wrapped so cute with little dog stickers!

It was his very own mimi!! Now Mason is officially part of the family!

She also sent some cute ribbon and more dog stickers...which will be perfect for when I do a scrapbook for Mason :)

She even made this cute tag! At first I thought she bought the present it was wrapped so nice!

Grandma, I love my new mimi. Thank you for making it just for me!
Love, Mason
