Life's a Beach!

June, 2011

Every year Levi's family goes to San Diego and 'beaches it' for a week. The Anderson families (Levi's cousins..) are also there which makes for a fun group with lots of kids. This year and this trip specifically was our first real vacation with Teagan. Ya! I've never seen us pack so much stuff for a vacation. . .and to think, what will it look like when we have 3 or 4 kids?!

We headed down to San Diego a day early to go to a local swap meet and enjoy some tasty restaurants.  

The flee market/swap meet was actually kind of big and wasn't a total failure...haha. I bought a beach hat and Nichelle bought a ring and a flower to put on her beach cruiser basket...we tried on fun hats and walked up and down practically every aisle...but right when we were about to leave, we spotted it...a kitchen table with 4 chairs...slightly shabby chic and slightly cottage-like....the asking price...$80.

*NEWSFLASH*

The Pier One Imports magazine just came in the mail this week...our table was in there. $249.99 for the table and $99.99 for EACH chair. TOTAL STEAL!

After the flee market, we headed to a breakfast place called Hash House A Go Go. If you've never been, you MUST! Then it was off to the beach!

North Carolina

Back in September my cousin Heidi got married. My whole fam went out for about 6 days to enjoy all of the wedding festivities and of course spend time with our family. We had such a great time and it was so nice to see everyone and spend some quality time together. Everything turned out great, and the wedding was beautiful!
